Lisette Vlassak (’93) is een Nederlandse regisseur met een intuïtieve vertelstijl, die raakt door kwetsbaarheid en de balans tussen fantasie en realiteit. Ze maakte o.a. jeugdseries als De Pestvlogs, No Monnie, Not Done, Broodje Aap, Er zijn grenzen (Zapp) en de Efteling-serie Danse Macabre. Haar afstudeerfilm Cocon werd internationaal bekroond en behandelde thema’s als identiteit en zelfacceptatie. Sindsdien bouwde ze een veelzijdige carrière op binnen jeugddrama, korte fictie en webseries. Na acht jaar Amsterdam is Lisette terug in Brabant, waar ze dichter bij zichzelf aan nieuwe verhalen werkt. Haar korte film Onderaards - tevens haar filmdebuut - is een psychologische thriller, gesteund door De Ontmoeting, NTR en Netflix, en beleefde zijn internationale première op Sitges, hét festival voor fantastische film.

Lisette Vlassak (’93) is a Dutch director with an intuitive storytelling style, marked by vulnerability and a balance between fantasy and reality. She has directed youth series such as De Pestvlogs, No Monnie, Not Done, Broodje Aap, Er zijn grenzen (Zapp), and the Efteling series Danse Macabre. Her graduation film Cocon received international acclaim and explored themes such as identity and self-acceptance. Since then, she has built a versatile career in youth drama, short fiction, and web series. After eight years in Amsterdam, Lisette has returned to Brabant, where - closer to herself - she is working on new stories. Her short film Onderaards - also her film debut - is a psychological thriller supported by De Ontmoeting, NTR, and Netflix, and had its international premiere at Sitges, the leading festival for fantastic film.
